Plum Creek Water Reclamation Authority is seeking a dedicated, detail oriented Operator to collaborate with our team in our mission to maintain excellent water quality while protecting the environment.
PCWRA is a BNR wastewater treatment plant with capacity to treat 6.44 MGD and is currently engaged in an expansion to 9.44 MGD. Operators are required to participate in a rotating on-call schedule and perform skilled work in the operations and maintenance of the treatment systems.
The open position is for any level of certified Colorado Wastewater Operator with salary depending on experience. The pay range for Trainee starts at $15.00/hour up to a maximum Operator III (must be certified Colorado A Wastewater) wage of $40.05/hour.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS (for Trainee; min qualifications increase with each level of Operations):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must maintain valid Colorado driver’s license with an acceptable MVR
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Performs skilled work in the operation of water reclamation systems while maintaining maximum efficiency of plant equipment.
- Operator I, II and III must participate in the on-call rotation and MUST live within 30 minutes of the plant to respond to alarms.
